About Me

My name is Michelle Tyslau and am thrilled to be teaching at Wilson Middle School.  I began my teaching career in 2005 and in 2014 I graduated with a Masters of Education through Gonzaga University.  Each of my teaching and learning experiences have been amazing and have taught me so much about life.  I can truly say, every year I am very excited and thrilled to meet my students and their families.  I am very much looking forward to our new journey together.
In my life outside the school I have also been blessed to have a happy and loving family.  I have a fabulous husband named Andy, three amazing girls named Amelia, Katherine (Katie) and Sarah, as well as a beautiful dog named Molly.  This is a recent picture of us spending some quality family time with a friend.

Family 2017

At Wilson Middle School I have been involved in coaching volleyball for the past few years as I love the game.  For those interested in volleyball, I can’t wait to see you on the court as well as in the classroom!  In addition to being involved in the athletics program, I have been lucky enough to help craft and find treasures for our school plays.  As prop master I get to put a lot of time and creativity into making our school plays come alive.  I am always looking to find the next treasure and anticipating amazing props we can use in our upcoming performances.
Lastly, I want to welcome you to our Wilson family.  I can’t wait to meet each of you and I look forward to the stories and adventures this year will bring!  See you in class 🙂
